Man Stabbed Several Times Outside Woburn Movie Theater

WOBURN (CBS) – A 42-year-old Wakefield man was stabbed multiple times outside a Woburn movie theater on Tuesday night.

The man, who was sitting in his car, was stabbed at around 10 p.m. in the parking lot for Showcase Cinemas. He suffered wounds to his neck, throat and abdomen.

Woburn police said the suspect approached the victim and asked for a cigarette. When the victim turned to grab one, he was stabbed in the neck. The victim then ran out of the car, and the suspect then stabbed him several more times.

The victim fled into the theater and was later transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old. He stands 5’11” and weighs 180-190 pounds.
