Heath Evans former fullback for the New England Patriots joined Hardy & Trupiano to discuss the NFL preseason, his time in the league and the Heath Evans Foundation.

The Patriots finished off this year’s preseason with a loss to the Giants. What does Evans think of the Pats 2-2 record this preseason?

Evans retired on August 24, 2011 after 10 seasons in the NFL. Has he started to miss the game yet? What was it about the game that kept him around so long and how was he able to stay in so long?

Many teams now go with multiple running backs and running back by committee. That led the guys to a discussion about how the game has changed over the years.

They also discussed fellow Auburn University alum Cam Newton. How will he fair at this level?

The guys then went on to talk about the Heath Evans Foundation for abused children. The foundation is currently trying to raise money by raffling off a trip for 4 to see the Saints take on the Packers in the season opener in Green Bay.
