CONCORD, N.H. (CBS) – 115,000 homes and businesses were still without power in New Hampshire Monday, a day after Tropical Storm Irene hit New England.

At a briefing Monday, Gov. John Lynch said two firefighters were hurt in the storm response. One was injured by a live wire, the other was seriously hurt when a tree fell on him in Stratford.
230 people went to Emergency Rooms across the state after Irene struck.
42 state roads and 200 local streets, most in the White Mountains, remain closed.
