The Norwegian Dawn headed off to Bermuda Friday.

WBZ spoke with one nervous family on the boat.

“We are just going to barrel right through it,” says Peggy. “I’m prepared it should be a very good trip.”

The Steamship Authority is anticipating that its ferry service for the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket will be temporarily suspended on Sunday as Hurricane Irene passes through New England.
