BOSTON (CBS) – The last weekend of August is usually pretty busy for tourist spots, but the approaching hurricane could have major impacts on New England businesses.
Paul Guzzi, the president and CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce said businesses are getting ready and hoping there won’t be too much damage from the storm.
WBZ-TV’s Jim Smith reports from Cape Cod.
“A lot of plans have already been made. I think people are adjusting. My hope is that whatever the impact of the storm is, it will be just over this weekend, which means that next weekend, Labor Day, will be clearer sailing, clearer weather, and good news for the tourist industry,” said Guzzi.
