BOSTON (CBS) - Hurricane Irene may be gunning for our shoreline during peak wedding season.

On Cape Cod, resorts, churches and caterers are scrambling to move their seaside events at the last minute. One wedding planner told WBZ-TV she has had brides in tears this week as they watch the forecast threaten their plans to exchange vows on the beach.
She said they have had to reschedule weddings and in some cases, couples have lost their wedding deposits.

For those who have their heart set on a beach-side ceremony on the Cape in August or September, planners recommend getting wedding insurance.
