Arlington Karate Coach Charged With Assaulting 7-Year-Old Student

ARLINGTON (CBS) - A karate instructor from Lexington has been arrested on charges of indecently assaulting one of his students.

Police said on several occasions, 52-year-old Thomas Donahue asked a 7-year-old he was coaching to help remove his leg brace in his office. Then, according to investigators, the attacks took place.

Prosecutors said afterward, Donahue would thank the victim for the help, and ask the student not to tell anyone what happened.

Donahue, who coached at T&P Martial Arts Studio in Arlington, will be arraigned on Friday at Cambridge District Court.
