Two Brothers Seriously Injured In Storrow Drive Crash

BOSTON (CBS) – Two brothers from North Andover are being treated for serious injuries after a fiery crash Sunday morning.

State Police troopers responded to the area of Storrow Drive eastbound near the off-ramp to Kenmore Square where an Infinity had crashed into a tree and was engulfed in flames on the median.

Troopers attempted to remove the occupants, a 27-year-old man and his 29-year-old brother, but were unable to do so. The Boston Fire Department responded and put the fire out. Both men were removed using the Jaws of Life.

They were transported to the hospital in critical condition and suffering from burn and trauma injuries. Medical personnel tell the DA's office that their conditions have stabilized.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817.
