Weymouth Lists Names Of Delinquent Property Owners On Website
WEYMOUTH (CBS) – If you live in Weymouth and have not paid your property taxes in more than two years, your name is now on the town's website.
Weymouth CFO Bill McKinney says they are just trying to get delinquent property owners to pay what they owe.

"We are not trying to embarrass anyone with this list," says McKinney. "We don't want people thinking that everybody on this list is a bunch of deadbeats."
A number of the properties on the list are vacant lots. McKinney says that makes it difficult to track down the owners.
As of August 19, the amount unpaid taxes topped $1,400,000.
