METHUEN (CBS) – Police in Methuen are investigating who shot at a mayoral candidate’s office with a BB gun Tuesday night.

The BB’s were fired at Al DiNuccio’s campaign office, which sits on the busy five-corners intersection in Metheun. His door and windows were the only ones riddled with BB gun holes.

He said his campaign workers have speculated on who might’ve done it, but he’s sure that none of his opponents were involved.

“My opponents are very, very, very nice people and standup citizens in the community. We know none of their camps are involved,” said DiNuccio.

In recent weeks, DiNuccio said some of his signs have been damaged or stolen. Also, a mailbox connected to his campaign was blown up.
