Police Investigate "Serious Assault" In Seabrook, NH

SEABROOK, NH - Police are investigating a "serious assault" in Seabrook, New Hampshire. They found 49 year old Michelle Dunn severely injured in her house on Mill Lane after neighbors called 911.

Investigators will not say what or who may have caused Dunn's injuries. She is in critical but stable condition at a Boston hospital.

Police say the assault occurred between midnight and 2am Monday morning. They resonded early Monday and remained on the scene Tuesday night.

At times, Tuesday, they blocked off the entire block.

Neighbors say the house was an eyesore that stood out in the neighborhood. Just a few weeks ago, Dunn's husband erected stockade fencing barbed wire around the property. Windows were boarded up and an American flag hung upside down.

Police have not said if there are any suspects in the case or if they are seeking a person of interest.
