FALMOUTH (CBS) – A 3-year-old boy from Reading, Connecticut nearly drowned Saturday while on vacation with his family in Falmouth.
According to fire officials, a family member found the child floating in the water off Washburn’s Island in Falmouth.
The boy was rushed to shore by a Mashpee police harbor boat that happened to be in the area.
The boy was conscious when he arrived on shore.
EMS transported him to Falmouth Hospital before he was flown to Boston.
There’s no word on the boy’s condition.
