YARMOUTH (CBS) – A 20-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning, after being pulled from a hotel pool in Yarmouth.

It happened around 9:25 a.m. at the Yarmouth Resort on Route 28.

Police said Ainura Akhmetova of Russia was pulled out of the indoor pool, and first responders immediately began CPR and used a defibrillator.

WBZ-TV’s Jim Smith reports

Officers said Akhmetova was breathing on her own later at Cape Cod Hospital. She is listed in stable condition.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Lana Jones reports

The hotel is near the Town and Country Motor Lodge on Route 28, where an 8-year-old girl nearly drowned Sunday. In that case, a vacationing nurse who stopped there to ask for directions was able to save the girl moments after she was pulled from the pool.

Tuesday’s incident is under investigation.

Well folks I think we need to enforce the Democratic knee jerk reaction and close all pools. They are obviously a hazzard.

Seriously I hope that women will be OK. People teach your kids to swim at a young age. And remember the old YMCA jingle.

    Don’t go swimming alone.
Don’t stray away from the shore,
or else you might not never
    go swimming no more.”

Dear editors please consider a factual mistake. The girl is from Kazakhstan.
