Safe NH Drivers Could Earn Free Chick-Fil-A Sandwich
HUDSON, N.H. (CBS) - If you drive safely through the town of Hudson, New Hampshire, it could get you a free chicken sandwich.
For the next several months, police officers in Hudson could give you a chicken sandwich voucher, instead of a citation.
"With this program that we are now working with Chick-fil-A, it allows us to reward people for safe driving habits or just personal safety habits," said Chief Lavoie.
Chief LaVoie says Chick-fil-A is supplying the vouchers for those who drive safely.
"When we do observe good driving behaviors, officers will be able to, during the course of a motor vehicle stop, if they observe people wearing seat belts, for example, instead of handing them a summons or a traffic ticket, we'll be able to hand them a coupon, which allows them to receive a free Chick-fil-A at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant," said Chief LaVoie.

Chief LaVoie added that kids wearing helmets while bicycling or skateboarding can also get these vouchers for a chicken sandwich. Even those spotted helping someone cross the street are eligible.
