HUDSON, N.H. (CBS) – A man was arrested for attempting to steal recycling metal from a heating fuel company in New Hampshire on Sunday morning.

Police arrested 32-year-old Joseph Segenberg of Derry, who officers called the “primary actor in the theft.”

Officers stopped the suspects as they were trying to leave Fred Fuller Oil on Tracy Lane in Hudson at around 9 a.m. They found a large amount of scrap copper with the suspects.

Segeberg, who was charged with theft and criminal trespass, was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail.

He is set to appear in Nashua District Court at a later date.

Police are still investigating, and may charge a second person in connection with the robbery.
