Acushnet Police Seize Marijuana, Interested In Talking To Owner

ACUSHNET (CBS) - Acushnet Police say an anonymous tip led them to a marijuana growing operation in the woods.

Officers say they found 10 "very well maintained" Marijuana plants.

The plants were all between five and six feet tall and have an estimated street value around $10,000.

Detectives removed the plants and are investigating.

In the last line of a news release, the department noted that the marijuana "is considered abandoned/found property and if anyone is willing to claim it, we are interested in speaking with them."
