BOSTON (CBS) – Nothing says summertime in New England like a lobster roll. Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet takes a crack at some of the best.

At his latest location in Dedham, chef Jasper White is selling a lot of lobster rolls at the Summer Shack because his version offers the perfect yin-and-yang of tastes and textures.
The most important part is the contrast, the crisp warm buttery bun, cool fresh lobster salad. It’s really that simple.
The Coolidge Corner Clubhouse in Brookline is an unlikely spot to find one of the biggest and best lobster rolls around.
But they have fresh lobster meat delivered every day — and you’ll be able to tell!
If you’re not a fan of mayonnaise, try asking for your lobster roll “Connecticut style,” which is just warm lobster meat on a bun with a side of drawn butter.
