FOXBOROUGH (AP) - The New England Patriots have agreed to deals with third-round draft choice Stevan Ridley and seventh-rounder Malcolm Williams.

Ridley, a running back from Louisiana State, rushed for 1,147 yards and 15 touchdowns last year. Williams played defensive back at TCU.

The Patriots have signed four of their nine draft picks,

including tight end Lee Smith of Marshall, a fifth-rounder, and linebacker Markell Carter of Central Arkansas, a sixth-rounder.

Five of their top six choices remain unsigned -- tackle Nate Solder of Colorado, defensive back Ras-I Dowling of Virginia, running back Shane Vereen of California, quarterback Ryan Mallett of Arkansas, and offensive lineman Marcus Cannon of TCU.
