WILMINGTON (CBS) – Friends and family are remembering a Wilmington soldier who was killed under mysterious circumstances.

Mourners held American flags at the Nichols Funeral Home on Tuesday as loved ones gathered to remember Army Spc. Christopher Crosby.

The 23-year-old was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound at his barracks in Anchorage, Alaska, but the military cannot explain what happened to him.
