Franklin 12-Year-Old Charged With Stabbing Younger Brother With Kitchen Knife
FRANKLIN, Mass. (AP) -- A 12-year-old boy has been charged with stabbing his 9-year-old brother with a kitchen knife in the family's Franklin home.
Police told the Milford Daily News the younger boy was taken to a hospital by his mother after being stabbed several times on Sunday. His condition was not known.
The older boy was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault to maim and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Deputy Chief Stephen Semerjian said the boy was arraigned on Monday and remains in custody.
Police said they did not know what prompted the stabbing.
