Woman Hoping To Hug Red Sox Player Arrested After Jumping In Bullpen

BOSTON (CBS) - A woman jumped into the Red Sox bullpen during the team's game against the Mariners at Fenway Park on Friday night.

Jacquline Perry, a 27-year-old from Vermont, told police she just wanted ask one of the Red Sox players for a hug and had no intention of "causing or creating any harm."

Despite her claims, the bullpen is an area restricted to fans, and anyone who enters those areas is subject to arrest.

So, police cuffed Perry without incident and charged her with disturbing a public assembly.
