Crews Extinguish Small Bus Fire On Mass. Pike In Natick

NATICK (CBS) – A small fire broke out on a bus on the Mass. Turnpike in Natick on Saturday evening.

After 6:15 p.m., state troopers, along with the Weston and Natick Fire Departments responded to the incident, which troopers said “caused more smoke than fire.”

Officials closed the first and middle travel lines while the fire was extinguished.

The bus passengers were transferred to another bus, and the bus affected by the fire was able to drive away from the scene, state police officials said.

No injuries were reported.
