Hope Solo Says Team Left It All On The Field

BOSTON (CBS) – At the WBZ Water Cooler this week: The U.S. Women’s soccer team lost a World Cup final thriller to Japan in penalty kicks. But American Keeper Hope Solo says, her team left it all on the field.

The United States remains atop the FIFA women’s world rankings despite its World Cup final defeat. The U.S. has topped the standings since March 2008, and is followed by Germany, Brazil, Japan and Sweden.

    I said before and I’ll say it again. The US lost because of an overconfident goalie who isn’t as good as she thinks. You can have her!
