Gresh & Zo discussed Steven Stamkos’ new 5 year $37.5 million deal with the Lightning. The price may have been too high for the Bruins to make a run at him, when you factor in the draft picks it would have required to get him, along with the financial commitment. If the Bruins hadn’t won the Cup though, would Bruins fans have felt that the team dropped the ball on this? They also discussed how no teams really made a run at Stamkos or Brad Marchand for that matter.
