Father Accused Of Beating 7-Week-Old Son

MALDEN (CBS) - A father is in custody, accused of badly beating his seven week old son in Malden.

Carlos Edwards, 33, was arrested for the assault on the sidewalk at Cross and Ferry streets early Wednesday afternoon.

The baby was taken to the ICU at Mass General.

There is no exact word on his condition.
