Marshfield Harbormaster Speaks Out Against Drinking And Boating

MARSHFIELD (CBS) – There is still no sign of a missing boater who fell overboard in Marshfield last weekend.

23-year-old Zac Woods fell into the water Saturday night after the boat he was riding in hit a jetty off Brant Rock.

Woods’ friend, 22-year-old Justin McDonald, was driving the boat.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Jim Smith reports

Police say McDonald was drinking before the accident and was released on $10,000 bail.

He also fell overboard, but was rescued by a kayaker.

Marshfield Harbormaster Mike DiMeo says he hopes this tragedy will discourage people from drinking and boating.
