Jim Trotter of SI joined Massarotti and Bertrand to discuss his article today which brought to light that the NFL players have set up a lockout insurance plan. The insurance plan would give NFL players an average of $200,000 if there was a lockout.

Did this insurance plan force the owners to see things the players way? How long have the players had the lockout insurance plan?

How much were the owners thrown off by the players insurance plan?

When the lockout is said and done, what will it mean from the salary cap and free agency?
