Great White Shark Spotted Off Monomoy Point In Chatham
CHATHAM (CBS) - A great white shark was spotted off the coast of Chatham on Wednesday.
Chatham harbormaster Stuart Smith said a 10-foot shark was seen a few hundred yards off the coast of Monomoy Point.
A Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries crew spotted the shark at around 12:30 p.m.
The crew members were deploying two acoustic radio receivers designed to monitor sharks when the shark swam up near their boat.
