CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A grenade caused a big scare Monday morning.

The explosive was found in Porter Square, and police shut down the area until it became clear that the device wasn’t dangerous.

There was no powder or pin with the grenade.

Police have no idea who left the grenade in the middle of the street.
