3-Year-Old Revived After Near-Drowning At Plymouth Pond
PLYMOUTH (CBS) - Rescuers managed to revive a three-year-old boy who nearly drowned Saturday at Myles Standish Park in Plymouth.
The young boy was pulled out of the water at Curlew Pond, which according to DCR, does not have life guards and that is very clearly marked.
Off-duty officer Mallory Reiss was among those enjoying the day nearby. She saw what was happening and jumped into action.

"I noticed that the boy was laying on the ground unconscious, not breathing so I kind of just ran over there," said Reiss.
She performed CPR with the help of an off-duty firefighter and nurse who were also nearby.

The boy was semiconscious when he was taken to Jordan Hospital. From there, a medical helicopter flew the him to a Boston-area hospital, which for Reiss, was a good sign.
"A sigh of relief," she said. "Because like I said, he wasn't responding at all to anything."
The child's condition was unclear as of Saturday evening.
