Man's Body Discovered In Merrimack River In Lawrence
LAWRENCE (CBS) - A man's body was recovered from the Merrimack River Friday afternoon.
Authorities believe he may be the man who went missing in the water earlier this week.
A worker at the hydro-electric plant along the river reported seeing the body just before 2 pm Friday.

Police Chief John Romero said Friday afternoon that a positive identification had not yet been made, but he believed the man to be Leopoldo Silvera.
Silvera told relatives early Wednesday morning that he was going to swim across the river.
It's unclear why he was trying to swim across the river.
Romero says the body was found just a few hundred yards from where Silvera's clothing was found.
