Vandals Torch Littleton School Buses Using Fireworks

LITTLETON (CBS) – Vandals torched three school buses at the Russell Street Bus Yard in Littleton on Wednesday night.

Two were destroyed, and the third was badly damaged.

The yard is between two schools, and the vandals were caught on surveillance.

“We have surveillance video we’re looking at right now from the two schools that show a vehicle pulling in and setting off fireworks between and underneath the buses and that’s what set it on fire,” said Lt. Matthew King of the Littleton Police Department.

Police are looking for a light colored car they saw on the surveillance tape.

They said it would be better if the culprits turned themselves in, rather than if police had to find them.

When they catch these hoodlums, they should be made to pay to replace the destroyed buses. I’m sure the taxpayers will be the ones to foot the bill.

QUIT BEING LAZY AND DO SOME INVESTIGATING. ISN’T THAT WHAT YOU’RE PAID FOR????
