WBZ Water Cooler: Eric Meola

BOSTON (CBS) – At the WBZ Water Cooler this week: In the summer of 1975, Bruce Springsteen released Born to Run. Eric Meola snapped the photo for that famous album cover.

He says he wanted an image that spoke to ‘The Boss’s’ music. The image featured Springsteen, leaning on saxophonist ‘Big Man’ Clarence Clemons. The E Street Band and the music world lost Clemons last week, at 69 years of age.

WBZ Radio’s Drew Moholland, with Eric Meola, the man who snapped the photo for Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ album cover.
