BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick will join a panel on “Face the Nation” over the holiday weekend.

Patrick, a Democrat, is scheduled to appear on the CBS show Sunday to discuss national issues with two Republican governors, Scott Walker of Wisconsin and John Kasich of Ohio.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will also join the roundtable discussion with host Bob Schieffer.

Kasich and Walker garnered national attention this year for plans to restrict public employees’ collective bargaining rights.

Massachusetts legislators Friday are scheduled to vote on their own plan to limit collective bargaining over municipal health insurance plans.

Patrick will appear on the show via satellite.

I wonder if he’ll talk about his inability to create any jobs other than those he handed out in state government or his epic failure at the parole board.

I heard about this during the early show and had a good laugh when Bob Schieffer read off the list of guests and introduced him as “Patrick Deval”! He got his name backassward…much like person! LOL

macmum, that was too funny. How embarrassing that must have been when he realized his error.
