Sighting Of Jamaica Plain Mom Not Verified, Woman Still Missing

JAMAICA PLAIN (CBS) - A promising lead in the search for a missing woman may now be a dead end.

On Wednesday, Boston police said there had been a credible sighting of 28-year-old Amber Devoe, the Jamaica Plain woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Devoe had been spotted in the Washington Street area of the South End, but her family has reviewed surveillance video and Boston police have not been able to verify that it was her.

Police said it is still an active missing persons case.
