NORWOOD (CBS) – A top Norwood school official has been accused of stealing from a local school.

The head of the school committee, Mark Joseph, allegedly took kitchen equipment, desks and chairs from the old Norwood High School and transferred the items to a business he was starting.

Joseph said he had permission from the superintendent.

He planned to donate the kitchen equipment to a food pantry.

If he had permission, why is this news?

I’m sure it is just a misunderstanding,. He was more than likely going to give it to Obama’s auntie,as she could use some new furniture!!!

Shouldn’t it be known by now whether he had permission to take it or not?
Having said that, I find it simply amazing that far too many people in well paid positions can’t distinguish between need and greed. Whether you are an elected mayor, a public servant or anyone else who despite being well paid, they always want and think they deserve more. Stop the slapping on the wrist and punish them so it won’t happen again.

Robberies happen every day. Why is this one so important that it makes the news? Who cares who he is? If it hasn’t been proven whether he had permission or not to remove the items, why is this news?

Witch Hunt! The Superindendent knows they discussed Ad nauseam donating the obsolete items to the Food Pantry which is about 200 yards from the place they were being stored. 15 years with an unblemished record on the School Committee.
