Our Fresh Grocer Tony Tantillo shows us what's on sale this week at the supermarkets to help you save money on the freshest summertime fruit.

The average price for a one-pound box of strawberries is about $1.99 right now, and the red, ripe fruits make for a flavorful warm-weather snack.

Although Thompson seedless green grapes won't be in markets for another few weeks, Perlettes, the first seedless green grape of the California season, are now available for an average price of $1.99 a pound.  To ensure you're getting the freshest fruit, look for a bunch where the grapes' skin has an amber cast.

Loaded with nutritional value, blackberries are known as a superfood, and their prices are beginning to drop.  A six-ounce tray sells for, on average, $1.79.

Be sure to shop around, because prices vary from store to store.
