“Talk about puking on yourself.” Felger & Massarotti open today’s show by relishing Roberto Luongo’s all-time choke job last night in Game 6. After criticizing Tim Thomas and his playing style before the game, Luongo didn’t even last 9 minutes in net last night. It appears that perhaps it should be Luongo, not Thomas, who should be reconsidering his approach to goaltending.

In the wake of Vancouver’s gutless performance last night, Felger & Mazz are finding it difficult to respect the Canucks team, regardless of the outcome in game 7. Mike and Tony think its clear that one team has shown much more character heading into game 7, and that the Bruins have the championship make-up that the city of Boston understands and recognizes.

It’s clear the Bruins won’t pack it in and quit like Vancouver has in all of it’s losses. Will karma finally catch up to the Canucks in Game 7, or will the Bruins fall short at the end in Vancouver yet again? If Felger is right and Roberto Luongo really is a loser, then the Stanley Cup should be flying back to Boston on Wednesday.

Every game of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Bruins and Canucks can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub with pregame coverage beginning 60 minutes before each game with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins Pregame show.
