The Phantom Gourmet recently visited a popular spot for Spanish cuisine south of Boston at "Loco" in South Easton.

Opened in 2006 by Culinary Institute of America graduate Jim Messinger, Loco Tapas and Wine Bar serves up inventive twists on Spanish classics.

The food, meanwhile, will transport you straight to southern Spain. First and foremost, people come to Loco for the tapas, like the imported serrano ham or the sizzling shrimp, sautéed with garlic, olive oil, and herbs.

Just a few of these small plates can make a great meal, or you can opt for one of Loco's larger plates like paella, stuffed chicken, and seared beef tenderloin with cheese sauce and horseradish mashed potatoes.

Wash it all down with some housemade sangria and finish your meal with creamy chocolate flan, and you'll be loco for Loco.
