Marine From Groton Killed In Afghanistan

BOSTON (CBS) - A Marine from Groton has been killed in action in Afghanistan, according to Pentagon officials.

Corporal William Woitowicz was 23 years old. He was assigned to the U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations Command

The Pentagon says he was killed conducting combat operations in Afghanistan on Tuesday.

Woitowicz was a 2007 graduate f Groton-Dunstable High School.
