Racist Graffiti Scrawled Onto Wall Of Police Station Bathroom In Mattapan

MATTAPAN (CBS) - The person responsible for the racist graffiti on the wall of a police station bathroom will be reportedly fired if he or she is caught.

Boston Police commissioner Ed Davis was at roll call at the Morton Street station in Mattapan on Tuesday morning and afternoon. He said the graffiti is totally unacceptable.

"We found some words that were scrawled on the bathroom wall there, and we've taken aggressive steps to deal with it. We certainly are not taking this kid of situation lightly," said Davis.

Police did not say what words were scrawled on the bathroom wall. That part of the wall has been removed.
