BOSTON (CBS) – According to MLB players, Red Sox  closer Jonathan Papelbon is among the most overrated players in the game.

The good news, he has a trio of Yankees in front of him.

Sports Illustrated polled 185 Major League players for this week’s issue, asking them “Who is the most overrated player baseball?’ Players voted Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez the most overrated with 18-percent, followed by his teammates Joba Chamberlain (12%) and Derek Jeter (7%).

Papelbon, Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth and Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher each received 4-percent.

Sports Illustrated polled their fans on Facebook as well, with Jeter received 45-percent of the votes, Red Sox DH David Ortiz getting 17-percent and Rodriguez coming in with 15-percent.
