Pedestrian Killed On Highway In Swansea
SWANSEA (CBS) - A woman was killed while she was walking on a highway in Swansea early Sunday morning.
State Police identified the victim as 40-year-old Chrisie Wallace of Fall River.

Police said they don't know why Wallace was on the highway when she was struck on Route 195 Eastbound just past Exit 2 in Swansea early Sunday morning.
The woman was hit by a car driven by 48-year-old Julian Juan of New Bedford, who had called to report he had struck something in the right travel lane, and had pulled over to wait for a trooper.
No charges have been filed in the crash.
