CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Prosecutors say a woman charged with killing her 6-year-old son in New Hampshire and dumping his body in Maine has waived a court hearing on the evidence against her.
Forty-two-year-old Julianne McCrery of Irving, Texas, was expected to be in Hampton District Court on Thursday.
The body of her son, Camden Hughes, was found under a blanket on a back road in South Berwick, Maine, on May 14. Authorities launched a nationwide appeal in search of his identity and his killer.
McCrery was arrested May 17 at a Massachusetts truck stop and arraigned in New Hampshire on a charge of second-degree murder.
New Hampshire prosecutors say Hughes was killed in New Hampshire, possibly at a Hampton motel McCrery checked into the night before his body was discovered.
