Two More Measles Cases In Massachusetts

BOSTON (CBS) -- There are two new measles cases in Massachusetts.

Boston Public Health confirms one case involves a 23-month-old boy from Boston who was vaccinated last year. He had not had the second shot in the series. The boy is back home and recovering.

WBZ-TV's Jonathan Elias reports.

Health officials say five percent of toddlers can be immune to that first measles shot.

The other case is a teenage boy outside of Boston who was treated in the city.

Health officials say that makes 17 measles cases in Massachusetts this year.
