Boston-Based Journalist Once Held In Libya Now Back Home

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston-based journalist James Foley is now back home in New Hampshire following six weeks of captivity in Libya.

James Foley's mother, Diane, said her son is now back with them at their Rochester, New Hampshire home, and added that having him home again is a "huge blessing."

Diane Foley said their family will now take a few days before speaking publicly about her son's ordeal. James Foley, who works for the Boston-based website GlobalPost, was taken hostage April 5 in Libya along with three other journalists as they covered the revolt against the Moammar Gadhafi's regime.

Foley and Connecticut Journalist were released by Ghadaffi loyalists last week.
