Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins shut out the Tampa By Lightning 2-0 in Game 3 Thursday night.

Toucher & Rich talked with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Bruins play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher about the win, Tyler Seguin’s performance and Patrice Bergeron’s return.

The guys discussed why Game 3 was so different from the very offensive Game 2. Did the Bruins need to change to a more defensive game?

After Seguin’s success in Games 1 and 2, Claude Julien said that he would play in Game 3. How did the rookie perform with Tampa Bay putting more attention on him?

They also talked about Marc-Andre Bergeron’s hit on David Krejci. Was it dirty or just a clean hockey hit?

Every game of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Bruins and Lightning can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub with pregame coverage beginning 60 minutes before each game with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins Pregame show.
