Box Truck Slams Into Salem Home
SALEM (CBS) - A truck crashed into a building on Boston Street in Salem on Thursday.
The truck caused a substantial amount of damage to the two-and-a-half-story home.

Resident Tom Goodrich said he originally thought the crash was terror-related.
"Then I came downstairs and saw the window, the new window with the truck inside it, and I realized, 'OK, now I get it,'" said Goodrich.

Goodrich told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 the driver was trying to avoid rearending a car when his foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator.
Fire officials said the driver was transported to a local hospital. No serious injuries were reported.
