BOSTON (CBS) – Three teenagers were charged Wednesday with last Friday’s rush-hour stabbing next to Boston Common.
Police charged 18-year-olds Johnnie Bonnie and Jermaine Gillespie, along with a 15-year-old with the stabbing outside Park Street Station last Friday.
The 18-year-old victim, despite being stabbed five times, is expected to survive,
Police say the attack was not random and that the victim and defendants knew one another.
One person who witnessed the attack managed to use a cell phone camera to take pictures of the attackers as they ran from the scene.
Police used those photos and MBTA surveillance cameras to identify the suspects.
All three suspects were ordered held on $200,000 cash bail.
