Woman, Teen Die In NH Car Crash
WINCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say two women have died as a result of a crash of two vehicles on Route 10 in Winchester.
Police say a Nissan Pathfinder driven by 39-year-old James Couch of Swanzey struck a Nissan Sentra driven by 16-year-old Kelsey Hopkinson of Keene on Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinson and 21-year-old Melissa Labrake of Keene, who was riding in Hopkinson's car, died as a result of their injuries.
Labrake's 20-month-old daughter, Emma Labrake, and was flown to a hospital in Worcester, Mass., with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Couch and 22-year-old Heather McCormick of Winchester, who was riding in Hopkinson's car, were taken to a Keene, N.H., hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the cause of the accident is still being investigated.
